The year 2013 began with orientation to the working staff with opening remarks and explanation of the text by Astisha by Namgyal monastery teacher Geshe Lobsang Dakpa. This was in congruence with the resolution passed during EDC as well as MDC meeting to observe the year 2013 as the year of moral and ethical development. Respective section heads had detailed discussion in their section and planned and worked out a roadmap for the current academic session. Both the director and the principal abreast the staff of the resolutions passed during ERC as well as MDC meetings

The school opening session was organized on the 1st March and we were very happy to have one of our senior most staff Mr. Lhakshey Tenpa as our chief guest. After almost two and half months of separation both children and staff were very happy with the reunion. With renewed vitalization and strength the new academic session began with a very happy note.

The birthday of the great mother of Tibet Gyalyum Chemo is celebrated as parents’ Day. We are very happy to have one of our former students Mrs. Karma Dolma as the guest of honour. Being a working mother and in the service CTA for the past twenty plus years, we felt it befitting to invite her to listen to her experience as former student, as working mother rearing three of her children and also her observation from the eyes of a CTA government official. Sure enough her talk depicting her rich experience touched the hearts and conscience of all the attendants of the function. The principal Mr. Namdol Tashi read out the written speech by Sikhong Dr. Lobsang Sengye on the occasion of parents’ day
