Conclusion of Dialectic Month
A month long training on the arts of dialectic was organized with the help extended from The Dialectic School from Tsug-Lag-Khang. A specific time was allotted for the training by readjusting our normal time table for duration of one month. This program was revived as per the expressed concern shown by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on several occasions. Back in the initial stage when the Tibetan schools were first established in early sixties, learned Geshe Las used to be the Tibetan teachers who not only taught Tibetan but also built a very strong base in the dialectic mode of learning in tune with the monastic training. This strong mode of learning by applying logic and sharp analytical deduction makes your learning meaningful and personal.
We are very lucky to have three of our religious teachers who have worked very hard to bring about a positive change to have a strong base in the dialectic and logical skill of learning. Teaming with senior monks from the Dialectic school is no doubt very supportive and the partnership brought about visible change in our students learning activities. The program was implemented in all our classes. Both the principal and the director encouraged our student to use this powerful mode of learning to improve themselves scholastically according to their capabilities and aptitude.
